Dean of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University, Attends the 2025 Forum of Leaders of Indonesian Fisheries and Marine Higher Education Institutions (FP2TPK)

The Dean of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries (FKP), Udayana University, actively participated in the 2nd Forum of Leaders of Indonesian Fisheries and Marine Higher Education Institutions (FP2TPK) 2025, held in Kotabaru, South Kalimantan.
This event served as a platform for collaboration and synergy among leaders of fisheries and marine higher education institutions across Indonesia.

The series of activities included:

  • Progress report presentation by FP2TPK Indonesia Management

  • Sharing Session on “Food Security and Aquaculture Development” with the South Kalimantan Regional Police

  • Socialization of LAMPTIP (Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Agricultural Sciences) by its Chair, Prof. Samanhudi

  • Discussion and curriculum alignment in the field of marine and fisheries education

The forum aimed to harmonize understanding and strengthen higher education institutions’ awareness of the latest accreditation policies and quality standards in the fisheries and marine sectors.
Furthermore, the meeting served as an important momentum to reinforce the direction of education, research, and national contribution to Indonesia’s marine and fisheries development.

The Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University, was also entrusted to host FP2TPK 2026 in Bali.
Through this forum, the Dean of FKP Unud expressed hope that the conclusions and agreements achieved will bring tangible benefits and broad impacts on advancing education and strengthening the marine and fisheries sector in Indonesia.
