Professor I Wayan Arthana
Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Arthana, M.S., Ph.D. is a Professor in the Aquatic Resource Management Study Program, Udayana University. He has deep expertise in lake and coastal ecosystems, with a focus on water quality analysis, waste management, and remote sensing technology for environmental monitoring. Currently, he holds the strategic mandate as the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Environmental Science at Udayana University. His academic dedication is manifested in various researches on climate change mitigation, seagrass conservation, and the hydrological dynamics of lakes in Bali. Through a multidisciplinary approach, he actively supervises doctoral-level research and contributes significantly to reputable international publications. As a key figure in the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Prof. Arthana continues to encourage the integration of marine science and sustainable policies to enhance national competitiveness in comprehensive aquatic resource management.
