Agreeing to Collaborate with Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, Biosphere Foundation initiates collaboration with FKP Unud

Biosphere Foundation is a non-profit organisation located in North Bali with a mission to provide learning that can be applied anywhere in training practitioners to maintain ecosystem health and biodiversity, reclaim water, recycle waste, restore soil health, and grow food at home.
On Friday (22 September 2023), at the Dean's Discussion Room of the Faculty of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (FKP), Biosphere Foundation made a visit in order to discuss the initiation of collaboration and cooperation. The visit from Biosphere Foundation was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries (Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Nuarsa, M.Si) and the Coordinator of the Information and Cooperation Management Unit (Dewa Ayu Angga Pebriani, S.Pi., M.P).
During her visit, Rini Nugraha as Business Manager of the Biosphere Foundation conveyed her goal to FKP to offer several programmes that could be collaborated together. "Biosphere Foundation is a foundation that focuses on environmental education and conservation activities. The activities carried out are training on "planting coral" which involves community empowerment," he added.

The Dean of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Nuarsa, M.Si hopes that the Biosphere Foundation can become one of FKP's collaborative partners in improving the quality of FKP student graduates through industrial internships. "Merdeka Belajar offers one of the industrial internship schemes which is very useful in training students' sensitivity in working after graduation, we believe Biosphere Foundation is able to become our partner in preparing graduates who are aware of environmental conservation issues in the future," he concluded.
The activities agreed by both parties are in the fields of education (independent MBKM and teaching practitioners), research, and joint services. Of course, with this opportunity, it is hoped that it will be able to expand opportunities for students to take knowledge outside the campus in the MBKM scheme, increase research opportunities, and provide opportunities for practitioners to teach on campus which is directly related to increasing IKU 2, IKU 4, IKU 5, and IKU 6.
