Aquatic Resources Management Study Program

The vast potential of Indonesia's aquatic resources, encompassing freshwater and coastal-marine ecosystems, necessitates human resources capable of managing these resources and keeping pace with modern advancements. High-quality human resources with competencies in fisheries and marine sciences are essential to improve the operational performance of various institutions involved in aquatic resource management, including the individuals within them. This is especially critical in addressing critiques regarding the performance of Indonesia’s human resources in this sector.

To expedite the development of fisheries and marine science graduates, particularly in the central region of Indonesia, the establishment of the "Aquatic Resources Management Study Program" is both strategic and essential. It provides a synergistic solution to maximize the sustainable use of Indonesia's vast aquatic resources. Establishing this program at Udayana University will contribute to enhancing the nation's human resource quality and competitiveness, balancing economic development with the growth of the fisheries sector.

Vision
To produce fisheries graduates, particularly in the field of aquatic resources management, who are excellent, independent, and culturally aware at local, national, and international levels.

Mission

1. To provide high-quality education and produce fisheries graduates with strong morals and integrity, aligned with societal demands.
2. To advance research and community service in fisheries sciences, particularly in aquatic resource management, that align with the interests of society, the nation, and the state.
