Aquaculture Study Program

Vision

To produce human resources in aquaculture who are excellent, independent, and culturally grounded, with the ability to develop sustainable aquaculture based on zero waste, information technology, and digitalization.


Mission

  1. To provide quality education in aquaculture to produce graduates who can apply and develop the concept of sustainable aquaculture based on zero waste, information technology, and digitalization.
  2. To develop research and community service in the field of aquaculture through the implementation of sustainable aquaculture concepts based on zero waste, information technology, and digitalization for the benefit of society, the nation, and the state.

Education System

Learning activities include:

  • 1. Classroom learning with Case Method and Project-Based Learning
  • 2. Laboratory and field practicum
  • 3. Research in the field of applied aquaculture

  • 2. Integrated Ecotourism-Aquaculture (Minawisata) Concepts

  • 3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Aquaculture

  • 4. Internet of Things (IoT) for Aquaculture

  • 5. Aquapreneurship

  • 6. Spatial Planning for Minawisata

  • 7. Tri Hita Karana Values in Minawisata

  • 8. Waste Management Technology in Aquaculture

  • 9. Environmental Management in Aquaculture


Graduate Profile

Graduates of the Aquaculture Study Program are prepared for roles such as:

  • 1. Aquapreneurs: Entrepreneurs in aquaculture utilizing digital and IT-based innovations

  • 2. Assistant Experts: Professionals supporting sustainable aquaculture and minawisata development based on zero waste principles

  • 3. Practitioners: Analysts who provide recommendations for sustainable aquaculture management using digital technologies

  • 4. Research Assistants: Capable of supporting analysis and application of digital technologies in sustainable aquaculture and minawisata

  • 5. Educators: Teachers in senior high schools or vocational schools, especially in fisheries and aquaculture, equipped with IT-based knowledge (according to government regulations)

  • 6. Fisheries Extension Officers: Skilled communicators in community outreach, water quality management, disease control, and digital applications in aquaculture
