End of Leadership Term: BASIC UDAYANA Holds General Assembly for Organizational Regeneration

On the final weekend of November, BASIC Udayana organized the 2024 BASIC Udayana General Assembly (Mubes). This annual agenda serves as a pivotal moment for BASIC Udayana to carry out leadership regeneration and refine its organizational system. The event took place over two days, Saturday, November 30, 2024, and Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Baruna Building, Room AU 2.1, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University.

As an important milestone for organizational regeneration, the General Assembly began with an opening by the MC, the singing of "Indonesia Raya" and the "Hymn of Udayana," a prayer reading, and remarks from the Organizing Committee Chairperson, the Chair of BASIC Udayana, the Advisor of BASIC Udayana, and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University. The assembly also included discussions and amendments to the organization's Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART) and the election of new leadership candidates for the upcoming term. On the following day, the agenda continued with program and financial accountability reports, member withdrawal procedures, and culminated with the formal demissioning of the 2023/2024 BASIC Udayana management.

This year's General Assembly was attended by active board members, permanent members, junior members, and alumni, who contributed their insights and perspectives to the discussions. “With the successful implementation of this General Assembly, we hope BASIC Udayana can continue to grow and become an innovative and solid student organization in the field of marine and fisheries diving,” said Bernadetta Putti, Chairperson of the BASIC Udayana General Assembly Committee, during her opening remarks.

The completion of this General Assembly not only marked the end of the current leadership term with recognition and gratitude for their contributions but also opened a new chapter for a brighter, more hopeful leadership in the future.
