FKP Unud Team Wins ASEAN Blue Innovation Challenge - UNDP

Denpasar, February 20, 2025 - The team from the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries (FKP) at Udayana University (Unud), consisting of Dr. Pande Gde Sasmita Julyantoro as team leader, Endang Wulandari Suryaningtyas, S.Pi, MP., Dr. Sc. Widiastuti, and Made Dendy Pratama, M.Si., has successfully become one of the 60 awardees of the ASEAN Blue Innovation Challenge 2024 ( ASEAN Blue Innovation Challenge - UNDP ). This event, supported by funding from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), recognizes the innovation and contributions of the FKP Unud team in advancing the blue economy in ASEAN.

As awardees, on February 19, 2025, the FKP Unud team participated in the ASEAN Blue Innovation Expo & Business Matching event at Menara Mandiri, Jakarta, where they pitched their innovation to potential investors. This event provided an opportunity for the team to present their work and build connections with investors and other stakeholders.

"We are proud and grateful for this award. It is proof that our innovations and efforts are recognized internationally," said Dr. Pande. The ASEAN Blue Innovation Challenge 2024 award also serves as motivation for the FKP Unud team to continue developing their innovations and contributions to the blue economy in ASEAN. "We hope to keep contributing to the development of the blue economy in ASEAN and bring benefits to society," Dr. Pande added.
