New Members of BASIC Udayana Officially Inducted as Regular Members

The Baruna Scientific Diving Club (BASIC) Udayana Faculty of Marine and Fisheries at Udayana University consists of various categories of members, including junior members, regular members, extraordinary members, honorary members, and founding members. On Thursday, October 31, 2024, 22 junior members were officially inducted as regular members after meeting the necessary requirements.

The criteria for a junior member to become a regular member include active participation in all activities organized by the BASIC Udayana administration throughout one full term. The induction ceremony was attended by BASIC Udayana's mentors, regular members, extraordinary members, and honorary members.

The 22 new regular members are active students from the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries at Udayana University, specifically from the Marine Science and Aquatic Resources Management programs. With this induction, the number of regular members in BASIC Udayana has increased, strengthening the club's community.

The ceremony took place in front of the Baruna Building Lobby, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University, on Thursday, October 31, 2024. The junior members were formally sworn in by the club's mentor, with the reading of the BASIC Udayana membership decree. This event marks their official transition from junior members to regular members, recognizing their completion of the necessary activities and requirements set by the organization.

In his speech, the mentor of BASIC Udayana expressed his congratulations, saying, “Congratulations to all of you for becoming Regular Members of BASIC Udayana. We hope that you will continue to contribute and carry the spirit of BASIC Udayana in your hearts.”

Following the induction of the new regular members, the BASIC Udayana Education and Training Division will open recruitment for new junior members for 2024. Students from the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries at Udayana University who are interested in joining the BASIC Udayana family are encouraged to apply and become junior members for the upcoming term.

This induction marks the beginning of a new chapter for the newly sworn regular members, who are expected to actively participate in future events and help organize and contribute to the ongoing success of BASIC Udayana's activities.
