PASSED MBKM MANDIRI, HIMMASPERA VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT TEAM HELD A PRE-OPENING AND RECEPTION EVENT IN KEDONGANAN VILLAGE

Udayana University has an MBKM Mandiri programme, one of which is the Bina Desa activity. The village development programme provides opportunities for students to learn outside the classroom by contributing to the development of rural communities, improving skills and building villages.

In 2023 the Aquatic Resources Management Student Association (HIMMASPERA) passed the implementation of the Independent MBKM. The Himmaspera team carried out activities in Kedonganan Village with the topic presented, namely "Community Empowerment in Kedonganan Village Through Processing Organic Waste into Ecoenzyme to Improve Community Living Standards".

As a symbolic form of the commencement of the implementation of Village Development activities, the Himmaspera village development team conducted an opening and acceptance of students to the Kedonganan village which was held at the Kedonganan Village Head Office on Tuesday (03/10/2023).

The event was attended by Field Supervisor Ayu Putu Wiweka Krisna Dewi, S.ST.Pi, MP. Bendesa Adat Kedonganan I Wayan Sutarja, PIC MBKM Unud I Nyoman Budiastra, M. Kes., MT, Jagabaya, Head of Neighbourhood, and officially received by Kedonganan Lurah I Kadek Laksana S.E., MAP.

In his remarks, the Kedonganan Lurah said that "this village development programme can benefit all elements of society and also in the handling and utilisation of organic waste which can be processed into eco enzyme" he added.

This Village Development activity will be carried out for 3 months from October to December and it is hoped that through this activity the Kedonganan Village community will have new insights and skills on how to manage organic waste into a product that can be used for daily life.
