On February 13, 2025, the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries at Udayana University (FKP UNUD) welcomed a group from SMA Negeri 7 Kota Depok. The group consisted of 98 eleventh-grade students accompanied by five supervising teachers.
This visit aimed to broaden students' knowledge of potential study options after graduating from high school. It provided them with insights into university life, particularly for those interested in pursuing studies in marine and fisheries sciences at FKP UNUD.
The event continued with a presentation by the UPIKS FKP UNUD team, represented by Mrs. Ni Luh Gede Rai Ayu Saraswati, on "Introduction to the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University." The presentation began with an overview of Udayana University, followed by a detailed introduction to the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, including its study programs: Marine Science, Aquatic Resource Management, Aquaculture, and the Master's Program in Marine Science. Additionally, the session covered academic support facilities, infrastructure developments, admission pathways, and scholarship opportunities for prospective students.
The students listened attentively and engaged actively in the discussion session, which fostered an interactive and productive exchange with the speaker. The visit concluded with the presentation of a souvenir from SMA Negeri 7 Kota Depok and the distribution of faculty brochures by the UPIKS team.
