Assoc. Prof I Wayan Restu
Ir. I Wayan Restu, M.Si. is a senior lecturer in the Aquatic Resource Management Study Program, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University. He has deep expertise in the fields of water quality management, lake ecology, and coastal ecosystem conservation. His research focus includes the analysis of phytoplankton and macrozoobenthos community structures as bioindicators of pollution, as well as strategic studies regarding the development of mangrove ecotourism and the impact of microplastic pollution in Bali's coastal areas. He actively contributes to the Aquatic Resources Management Scientific Expertise Group, with the aim of optimizing the sustainable utilization of aquatic resources through the integration of ecobiological research and environmental management. His scientific portfolio includes more than 80 indexed publications, which reflects his dedication to maintaining the ecological integrity of tropical waters for the future.
