Prof I Gusti Bagus Sila Dharma
I was appointed as a Professor in Coastal Engineering in 2016 and currently teach at several departments at Udayana University. At the Civil Engineering Department, I teach Coastal and Port Engineering, Coastal Structure Planning, River Engineering (undergraduate), Groundwater Modelling, Coastal Hydrodynamics (Master), and Energy, Materials, and Environment (doctorate). At the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, I teach master’s and doctoral-level courses in Climate Change and Global Warming, and Environmental Management Systems. At the Marine Science Department, I teach Introduction to Oceanography, Coastal Oceanography, Coastal and Ocean Disaster Mitigation, and Coastal Processes. I am a member of multiple professional organisations, including Himpunan Ahli Teknik Hidraulik Indonesia (HATHI, Indonesian Association of Hydraulic Engineers) (Membership no.: 122287), Himpunan Ahli Konstruksi Indonesia (HAKI, Indonesian Association of Civil and Structural Engineering) (Membership no.: 2003181), Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (PII, The Institution of Engineers Indonesia) (Membership no.: 1401.15.067522), and the International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS) (Membership no.: ID-M13110174).
