Cooking with Togetherness, Sharing with Warmth: “Dapur Himmaspera” Reaches Out to Coastal Communities

As part of its agenda, the Student Association of Aquatic Resource Management (Himmaspera), Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University, once again carried out the Dapur Himmaspera activity. Dapur Himmaspera is a cooking initiative where meals are prepared and distributed to coastal communities. This activity took place on Sunday, March 23, 2025.

At 2:00 PM WITA, Himmaspera functionaries began cooking at the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries' canteen. Later, the food distribution was held at Kedonganan Beach, Kuta District, Badung Regency, at 5:00 PM WITA.

The featured dish was Nasi Tempong, with a total of 38 meal boxes prepared. One of the Himmaspera functionaries, Ceci, handed a meal to a fisherman who was resting. He received it warmly. “Thank you very much, miss. This meal really means a lot to us, especially after a whole day at sea without the chance to cook,” said Mr. Abdul.

The event concluded with a group photo session of the Himmaspera team. It is hoped that Dapur Himmaspera will foster stronger connections between students and the coastal community, helping to create a harmonious and mutually supportive environment.
