Exploring Innovation and Collaboration: Attractive Learning 2025 with PT. ITDC Nusa Dua
On Saturday, May 31, 2025, a series of activities for Attractive Learning 2025 took place at PT. ITDC, Nusa Dua, Bali. This event aimed to broaden students’ knowledge and develop their mindset in the field of wastewater management to support sustainable aquatic resources. The activities included touring each treatment cell and stage of wastewater processing until it becomes raw water that can be reused either as potable water or for hotel operational purposes.
The event was attended by the Advisor of the Aquatic Resource Management Student Association, Mrs. Ayu Putu Wiweka Krisna Dewi, S.S.T.Pi, M.P., the manager and staff of PT. ITDC, Nusa Dua, Bali, along with 25 participants. The event was opened by the MC, followed by the report from the chairperson Kailla Sifa Maharani, then a speech from Dwi Pebriyanti as Vice Chairperson of Himmaspera, and a speech from representatives of PT. ITDC. This was followed by remarks from Mrs. Ayu Putu Wiweka Krisna Dewi, S.ST.Pi., M.P. In her speech, Mrs. Ayu Putu Wiweka Krisna Dewi said, “I hope this year’s Attractive Learning participants can follow the activities well and make the best use of the opportunities provided.” The event was then officially opened by the Himmaspera Advisor.
The activities continued with a presentation led by PT. ITDC staff explaining the miniature scheme of the wastewater management site. Participants showed enthusiasm through several questions during the discussion session. Afterwards, the tour continued to each wastewater treatment area and disposal cells.
The next part of Attractive Learning 2025 was held at the Lobby of the Samudra Building, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University. Participants were given time for Isbama (midday prayer) followed by a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The FGD focused on the theme “Negative Impacts of Hotel Wastewater Management on Sustainable Tourism Development: A Case Study of Lagoon Wastewater Management, ITDC, Nusa Dua.”
The event concluded with a door prize drawing and awarding of the best group. This was followed by a group photo session and the recitation of the pride slogan of the Aquatic Resource Management Study Program: “Explore the Waters, Master the Ocean, Greetings from Aquatic Resources!”
