Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University Holds the 50th Graduation Ceremony

Jimbaran, October 22, 2025 — The Faculty of Marine and Fisheries (FKP), Udayana University, proudly held its 50th Graduation Ceremony at the Samudra Bukit Building, Jimbaran Campus. This special occasion marked the celebration of 44 graduates, consisting of 14 from the Marine Science Study Program and 30 from the Aquatic Resources Management Study Program.

In the academic report presented during the event, the average Grade Point Average (GPA) for Marine Science graduates was recorded at 3.64 with an average study period of 4 years and 8 months, while the Aquatic Resources Management graduates achieved an average GPA of 3.76 with an average study period of 4 years and 2 months. To date, the Faculty has successfully produced 933 graduates—478 from Marine Science and 455 from Aquatic Resources Management.


The award for the best graduate of the 50th period was given to Nyoman Adiatma Prasada Putra, S.Si., a Marine Science student with a GPA of 3.80 who completed his studies in eight semesters with the distinction of Cum Laude (With Honors).


The Dean of FKP Udayana expressed appreciation to all graduates for their dedication and hard work throughout their studies. “We hope our graduates will continue to contribute to the advancement of Indonesia’s marine and fisheries sector,” he said.


The event concluded with a prayer and heartfelt messages, encouraging all graduates to uphold the good name of their alma mater and make meaningful contributions to society and their professional fields.
