FKP Euphoria (FKPHORIA) 2024, with the theme "Beats and Harmony," was a special evening designed to celebrate achievements and strengthen the bonds among students of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University. This event was held to honor the winners of the Ocean Scientific Essay Competition (OSEC) and to create a sense of unity within the academic community, particularly for new students, fostering a spirit of family and collaboration.

The event began with an introduction by the MC, followed by a report from the committee chair, Jauza Radhwa En Mala, and remarks from the President of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, I Gede Kaivalya Banu Varistha. The event was then officially opened by the Vice Dean III of the Faculty, I Wayan Gede Astawa Karang, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., who said, “With FKPHORIA, we hope to foster a harmonious bond among FKP students, especially within the student organizations. He then symbolically tapped the microphone three times to mark the official opening.

Before the awards ceremony, the energy peaked with a modern dance performance by student representatives, bringing an energetic and dynamic spirit to the crowd and adding a fresh element to the event. The main part of FKPHORIA was the awarding of the Ocean Scientific Essay Competition winners, who were called to the stage to receive recognition for their innovative work in marine and fisheries fields.

In line with the theme “Beats and Harmony,” the night featured various art and music performances by students, creating a warm and lively atmosphere that highlighted the diverse talents and unity among the Faculty’s students. The event concluded with a sing-along, a moment for everyone to celebrate the success of FKPHORIA 2024 together.

“For the event, I think it was pretty good for some reason, like the performance and also kinda fun because we can chit chat and dance with a lot of people, helping us get to know each other better. I hope for the next FKPHORIA event they prepare more, especially with things related to the internet,” remarked Anjani, a new student from the 2024 batch.
