Internal Quality Audit (AMI) of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University – 2025
The Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University, conducted its Internal Quality Audit (AMI) on 11–12 September 2025. This annual agenda reflects the faculty’s commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality of its implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (education, research, and community service).
The audit was carried out by an internal auditor team assigned by the University’s Quality Assurance Institute (LPM). This year’s scope covered four study programs:

Master of Marine Science (S2)
On the first day (11 September 2025), the agenda began with an opening and briefing delivered by the Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries. In his remarks, he emphasized that AMI is not merely an administrative obligation, but an essential instrument to assess achievements, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that academic and non-academic management aligns with the quality standards set by the university. Following the opening session, the audit proceeded with document reviews and interviews in the Bachelor of Marine Science (S1) and the Bachelor of Aquatic Resources Management (S1) programs.
On the second day (12 September 2025), the audit continued with the Master of Marine Science (S2) and the Bachelor of Aquaculture (S1) programs. Activities included presentations, document reviews, and clarifications by the study program teams. After the sessions concluded, the auditors presented preliminary findings, offered notes for improvement, and expressed appreciation for the achievements attained.
The audit was attended by the faculty leadership, study program coordinators, heads of laboratories, unit heads within the faculty, study program quality assurance teams (TPPM), lecturers, and administrative staff. The presence of all stakeholders reflected a shared commitment to fostering a quality culture within the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries.
The AMI concluded with the auditors’ presentation of provisional results. The recommendations provided will serve as the basis for each study program to formulate follow-up actions, including enhancements to curricula, management of research and publications, and academic and student services.
Through AMI 2025, the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University, is expected to continuously improve the governance quality of its study programs, strengthen academic competitiveness, and make a tangible contribution toward realizing Udayana University’s vision of becoming an excellent, independent, and cultured institution.
