Jimbaran, October 9, 2025 — The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, Udayana University, successfully initiated and organized Marfish Job Fair 2025, an event designed to open career opportunities while connecting students with the professional industry. This activity was part of the 14th BKFKP Anniversary celebration, themed “Blue Innovation Towards an Impactful Udayana.”

As participants of Marfish Job Fair 2025, students and alumni gained access to three main agendas:

  • CV Writing Workshop and Interview Simulation – equipping participants with practical skills to prepare for job applications and interviews.

  • CV Review Session – providing direct evaluations from practitioners and company representatives to enhance the quality of applicants’ professional profiles.

  • Company Exhibition – featuring various institutions and organizations from the marine, fisheries, conservation, and maritime industries.

The company exhibition became the main highlight of the event, connecting participants with well-established institutions working in marine conservation, fisheries resource management, and ocean-based industries. Some of the participating partners included:

  • WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) – a global conservation organization focusing on biodiversity protection.

  • Coral Triangle Center (CTC) – a marine conservation institution with the tagline “Inspiring People, Saving Oceans,” actively engaged in education and management of the Coral Triangle area.

  • ECONWAY Conservation – an organization emphasizing marine ecosystem and coral reef conservation.

  • Yayasan Penyu Indonesia – a foundation dedicated to sea turtle and coastal habitat conservation.

  • LINI (The Indonesian Nature Foundation) – supporting sustainable fisheries and coastal community empowerment.

  • Leuser Conservation – focusing on the preservation of the Leuser ecosystem, one of the world’s most important ecological regions.

  • Yayasan Pelihara Indonesia – an organization symbolized by a sea turtle, active in marine conservation and environmental education.

The participation of these strategic partners reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, Udayana University, to bridge students with career paths relevant to their academic disciplines. More than just an exhibition, Marfish Job Fair 2025 served as an interactive platform connecting students with real opportunities in marine conservation, research, and industry sectors.

Through this event, BEM FKP Udayana not only fostered an academic and professional exchange but also paved the way for students to prepare themselves for the increasingly competitive career landscape within the marine and fisheries sector.
