PKKMB Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, Udayana University 2025: “Blue Synergy” as a Platform for Impactful Collaboration
Jimbaran, August 25, 2025 — The Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (FKP), Udayana University, officially held the 2025 Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus bagi Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) or Student Orientation Program at the Lecture Building, Jimbaran Campus. A total of 194 new students enthusiastically took part in the event, which carried the theme “BLUE SYNERGY: United in Synergy for an Impactful Future of FKP.”
The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, who emphasized the importance of building collaboration among students from the very beginning of their academic journey. “The theme Blue Synergy is not just a slogan—it reflects the spirit of togetherness and synergy that will serve as a foundation for students to innovate, collaborate, and create real impact for society and the environment,” the Dean stated in his remarks.
The PKKMB program was designed not only to introduce students to academic life but also to strengthen character, instill national values, and foster the spirit of the tridharma of higher education. New students were introduced to the faculty’s organizational structure, academic services, student activity units, and flagship programs focusing on marine research, conservation, and sustainable fisheries development.
In addition to orientation sessions, the program also featured public lectures, motivational workshops, and interactive activities to encourage collaboration among students across different study programs. These activities are expected to strengthen bonds and build synergy in realizing FKP’s vision as a faculty that creates meaningful impact for society, the nation, and the environment.
With the spirit of “Blue Synergy”, PKKMB 2025 marks the first step for Udayana University’s new students to transform into an innovative, environmentally conscious generation, ready to synergize and contribute to shaping a better future for marine science and fisheries.
