This event discussed the aspirations of students from the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries at Udayana University, with Wahyudin as the moderator. In the first session, the moderator began by reading the results of a questionnaire distributed to students. This survey covered various critical aspects of students’ campus experience, such as inadequate campus facilities and unstructured systems. After the questionnaire results were presented, the session continued with a video presentation featuring the aspirations of the 2023 and 2024 cohorts.

In the second session, a discussion was held with the dean’s office, who responded to the aspirations expressed by the students. The dean's office noted that they would gradually improve campus facilities. "We recognize that adequate facilities are essential to support teaching and learning activities as well as student comfort on campus. Adjustments to midterm and final exam schedules will also align with the academic calendar, and we are considering the use of uniforms," they added.

The third session allowed students to directly convey their aspirations. This began with input from Student Organizations, followed by active students of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries at Udayana University. HIMASILA, one of the student organizations, appreciated the efforts of the Dean’s Office, noting improvements compared to previous years. "However, improvements are still needed, such as the availability of diving equipment, the spread of MBKM academic information, and the lack of lecturer participation in faculty events," they added. The response was continued by the Dean, Vice Dean II, Vice Dean III, the Marine Science Study Program Coordinator, the Head of Administration, and the advisors for the DPM and BEM. The dean’s office stated that campus facilities would be gradually improved. "We have evaluated MBKM with lecturers and partners, and the aspirations presented here today will be addressed progressively by the dean’s office," they concluded.

The Dean Meeting concluded with the presentation of certificates and plaques to the Dean of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, followed by a group photo. The 2024 Dean Meeting provided a platform for students to voice their aspirations and concerns, which will encourage the dean’s office to become more attentive to student needs. With positive responses and a commitment to improving facilities and adjusting the learning system, it is hoped that the quality of education at the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries will significantly increase, creating a more supportive learning environment for all students.
