The Faculty of Marine Affairs and Fisheries held a BSO KWU with the theme "Sustainable Innovation in Business Towards The Era of Society 5.0.

In the framework of the Implementation of the Work Program of the Semi-Autonomous Body (BSO) Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Udayana University carried out the BSO KWU Business Case Competition (BCC) with the theme "Sustainable Innovation in Business Towards The Era of Society 5.0." The BSO KWU Business Case Competition was held for 1 day, namely on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the Udayana University Library Hall on the 3rd floor and also online through the Zoom Meeting with the national level competition.

The Business Case Competition event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries (Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Nuarsa, M.Si.), Vice Dean III (I Wayan Gede Astawa Karang, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D.), Advisor of the Semi-autonomous Body of Entrepreneurship (Gede Surya Indrawan, S.Si., M.Si). Judges from the Faculty of Economics and Business of Udayana University Dewa Jati Primajana, S.E., M.Si., and Judges from MPM Group Nathanael Antonius, S.T. The Heads of Ormawa Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, as well as event participants who attended both offline and online as many as 5 groups with a total of 19 people. The activity began with the opening, margapati dance performance, remarks by the committee chairman, remarks by the chairman of BSO KWU Marfish Preneur, remarks by the coach of BSO KWU Marfish Preneur, and remarks, as well as the opening of the event by the Dean of the Faculty of Marine Fisheries, Udayana University.

BCC competition participants came from various universities, there were 5 teams of participants who passed the final round, namely from the Semeton UNRAM team (Mataram University - NTB), Visionaries Consulting (Traumanegara University - Jakarta), The Conquerors (Trisakti Scool of Management - West Jakarta), Suddenly BCC (University of Indonesia - Jakarta), and Golden Generation (University of North Sumatra & Prima Indonesia University - North Sumatra). All participants presented their innovations related to the e-SIM case study provided by Telkomsel. After the presentation session was over, the event continued with a discussion session by all teams that made presentations. After all teams made presentations and discussion sessions, then the calculation of the results of the jury's assessment was carried out, and the final winners of the Business Case Competition were announced from 1st place to 2nd place. With 1st place obtained by The Conquerors team, 2nd place obtained by Visionaries Consulting, 3rd place obtained by Suddenly BCC, 1st place obtained by Semeton Unram, and for 2nd place obtained by Golden Generation. The BCC activity ended with a group photo by the participants and also with the jury and also the entire committee. The purpose of this activity for students of the Faculty of Marine Affairs and Fisheries is to increase the visibility and reputation of the organization (BSO KWU) or the host institution (FKP) in the eyes of the public, especially among students and professionals. Building networks with various universities, companies, and talented individuals who can become partners or future talents. In addition, students are able to face and solve real problems in the business world.
