The Initial Step Towards a Shared Agreement to Enhance the Integrity of Outstanding, Independent, and Culturally-Rooted Students, Himmaspera Held the 2024 Student Deliberation
The Student Association of the Marine Resource Management (Himmaspera) once again held the Student Deliberation (Musyawarah Mahasiswa or MUSMA) event. This event took place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Batur Hall, Samudera Building, 4th Floor, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Udayana University. The purpose of the Student Deliberation (MUSMA) was to formulate and ratify the Association's Articles of Association (AD) & House Rules (ART), discuss the election procedures for the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of Himmaspera, and address the Demissioning of Himmaspera's Board of Executives. The event was attended by 60 active students of the Marine Resource Management study program.
The Chairperson of Himmaspera, I Putu Ekananda Septiana Putra, in his speech, expressed hope: "I hope that this Musma will result in a consensus, and lead to good decisions for Himmaspera in the coming year," he said. The speech was followed by remarks from the Mentor of the Student Association of Marine Resource Management, Ayu Putu Wiweka Krisna Dewi, S.S.T.Pi, M.P., who said, "I hope that in the next period, Himmaspera will continue to implement the PPK ORMAWA and participate in the Abdidaya ORMAWA 2025," she remarked. In addition to the speeches, the event was officially opened by the Mentor, Ayu Putu Wiweka Krisna Dewi, S.S.T.Pi, M.P.
The MUSMA HIMMASPERA 2024 event consisted of 4 sessions, followed by the reading of the Accountability Report (LPJ) delivered by I Putu Ekananda Septiana Putra as the Chairperson of Himmaspera. The first plenary session was chaired by the Provisional Presidium and discussed the session’s rules of procedure, as well as the appointment of the Permanent Presidium. The second plenary session discussed the ratification of the Articles of Association (AD), the third plenary session addressed the ratification of the House Rules (ART), the fourth plenary session covered the election procedure for the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of Himmaspera for the 2025 period, and the determination of the candidates for Chairperson and Vice Chairperson for 2025. The event continued with the Demissioning of the Mahagrata Cabinet of Himmaspera and concluded with the announcement of the Best Functionary in Commission (BEACON) and the awarding of rewards to all Himmaspera functionaries. The Musyawarah Mahasiswa event was successfully conducted, with all participants actively voicing their opinions and brilliant ideas for the future success and progress of Himmaspera.
The Student Advisory Council member, Putu Krisna Eka Saputra, during the critique and suggestion session, said, "I would like to congratulate the Mahagrata Cabinet of HIMMASPERA for successfully guiding the ship to its desired port. I have no criticisms, only thanks to you all for continuing the legacy of HIMMASPERA. Your work programs have been excellent and well executed until the end," said Krisna. Critiques and suggestions were also shared by active student Ariel Pasha, who stated, "I would like to express my gratitude to the core members and functionaries of Himmaspera for providing benefits and opportunities to all students of Marine Resource Management. I hope that in the next cabinet, Himmaspera will become even more successful," he said enthusiastically. With the conclusion of MUSMA HIMMASPERA 2024, it is hoped that the results of the deliberations agreed upon will strengthen Himmaspera as an organization and lead to greater success in the future periods.
